The Hippogriff is said to be the symbol of the Greek god Apollo. A Hippogriff is a mixture of a horse and an eagle/griffin. There are some practices that consider the Hippogriff a symbol of love. This is because the parents of a Hippogriff, (Griffin and the Mare) are natural enemies.

Marine Grade Stainless Steel Sculpture. The dancer is a limited edition (10) in total celebrating the grace and sacrifice of professional dancers. This particular work I based on the strikes that were defined by the quick moving hands of classical dancers one night I was visiting the National Ballet of Cuba performing in Havana.
